Played Hermans new scen (of course with PlayerSDB and H3).

Hi Herman,

You were right, its pretty unwinnable from ROK side. I killed 15 ships, lost 2 (one to airstrike and one to SSM from islands). I rearranged forces coming close to islands, detected two 105 mm batteries and three unknown yellow contacts. Killed 105 mm but lost some ships too. The other unknowns were very tough and would not die. I ignored them and moved on the the main island within the ref points. None of my ships or helos detected ground installations but all died approaching the islands. Helos came in Medium and wer shot down and escorts never saw the units that sank them. Not sure if they were guns or maybe mines ( though i had sonar active and went over 5 knots). So probably hidden guns.

Not sure if it was day or night ( with the H3 clock running backwards who can tell? ;) )

Anyway it was a nice approach, just wish i had something with NVG or IR sensors.
Also good for the AI to win one !

Thanks for a fine AAR. You did everything that was expected of you. The defences in the southern islands were supposed to be avoided once encountered. I have re-positioned the units in the main island. When I tested in H3, the DPRK artillery units were detected due to the "Active sonar detects land facilities" Bug. Of course, a scenario should not rely upon a known bug in order to function. Therefore, the units have been moved so that your helos can provide sufficient early warning. The scenario should still be tough, but now it should no longer be impossible. Sorry that I missed the problem while testing.
