HI all,

I just wanted to let you all know that Chris Mazzei and I will definitely publish our third Death To Fascism pack at ASLOK this year!

For several years my ASL life was in a complete coma, burnt out and playing only the odd game with Steve and Mark in Halifax.

Early this year some of the energy returned; Chris and I have started playtesting and we will certainly have our pack ready for ASLOK, which we both hope to attend this year.

Just FYI: this pack will have 4 brand new DTF scenarios; and we will re-publish 4 of our favourite earlier designs (all from the Friendly Fire Packs) adapted to DTF Special Rules, a few improvements and some balancing.

One "theme" of this Pack: ASL For Old People (ASLFOP).....

What does that mean?

For example:

Special Rules: EC are moderate with no wind.

end of Special rules.

I think many of us can use a break from some of the complexities unleashed on us over the past twenty years. And just play the game we love, it has enough chrome of its own - at least that is our theory here.

Best regards from Canada and Switzerland!

Will there be an alternate source for people unsure if they will be crossing the border in the near future?
We will probably sell again through our usual outlets - Le Franc Tireur (worldwide, but mainly Europe) and one online game store in the US, if they still come to ASLOK every year. As you can see, we haven't through through the marketing/selling part very much yet.

Which explains why we cannot fly to Cleveland in our private jet. Not yet, at least. Still working on it.

Any chance of an electronic version?
I guess if you (or someone you know) buys the pack and scans the scenarios, you have an electronic version?

It's not our livelihood or online business, so our "business model" is very simple" we print a few hundred copies, sell a bunch of them directly to the players when we launch it at ASLOK - and after that through our two trusted distributors (Gamers Armory in North America and Le Franc Tireur in Europe) and we then move on with our lives.

I hope that makes sense?

Fair enough - I just hate to have gear that I haven't paid the creators for.

Basically you are marketing your pack to the same people who already have those old scenarios.

That would be like selling people countersheets with counters they already own in new modules/HASLs.

Just consider it a pack with 4 new scenarios and a few DTF-converted scenarios thrown in as a bonus. We will price it reasonably, as we have always done.

Exactly true on the first point!

New scenarios and reformatted scenarios from FrF packs - I can't see any issue with this. And we're not shelling out over a hundred bucks for the same amount of play value that we're going to get with this pack.
