Well, that's about the one area I hate with PC games, there's no excuse for the way some games are shipped. Things should not be that buggy on release.

Yeah, if EVER I had a pet peeve about PC games it's when they get shipped with crippling bugs. I can live with minor bugs or glitches that only happen once in a blue moon with the stars are alligned correctly, but there's no excuse, publisher, programmer, distributor, or otherwise that justifies fatal gameplay bugs, blue screens, or CTDs on a regular or semi-regular basis.
