Strategic/Campaign level for tabletop miniatures?

Has anyone ever heard of or tried this?

Computer Moderated Wargame Rules for Historical Miniatures

I am looking for something to run the strategic level for a miniatures game and looking over this site it seems like this is something that is doable. Not really much information on the site itself (I just joined their forum and am awaiting Moderator approval). Access to more detailed information and some more screenshots would be nice but from reading it looks like it might be something worth looking into. I'll post more when any information is available.

That is a good site.
This is a good idea I have experimented with also, I am not sure that forum will have what you are looking for, despite the fact it has a lot of helpful things. It seems that I at some point on my last cpu (before I had to reinstall windows over a system crash) had found something like this 2 yrs ago. I will see if I can locate it again.
