Guys,

To both encourage Perry to post here, and to FINALLY compile all of his "Perry Sez" i would recommend a folder specifically for this.

I second Jeff's motion. Sorry to post a "me too", but I am in total agreement with this idea. Not only would it be a lot easier to keep track of possible rule changes and revisions, but yet another reason proving the ASLML is outdated.

I don't think it's a horrible idea, but here's the problem: I've received suggestions for about an extra dozen forums. I'm concerned that by offering too many forums, we'll be diluting the discussions to much, making navigation too difficult, and overwhelming players with posting choices. If someone has a rules question, they won't know if they should post to Rules, Perry Sez, Ask A Veteran, General, etc.

I do agree that it would be nice to highlight Perry Sez comments, so here's what I'll do: if Perry does pass judgement on a call, I'll make the topic a sticky (stays at the top of the topics list). If I see that there are a lot of stickies, I'll either create a new forum, or move topics to a static location on the OARS site (which will eventually be a bit more integrated with the forums as part of the new ASL community site).

Fair enough?

You people have an awful lot of good ideas. Please keep them coming.

We do NOT need Perry spending his time trying to post his rulings in a multitude of places. He should stick to the ASLML and the MMP site. This just dilutes things

Sure, sticking to the ASLML we might get too see what he has to say. Anybody paid any attention to how sketchy the ASLML has become? Your post might go through, it might not, or it may appear a few days later. Until the ASLML is fixed or extinct, I think MMP needs to either actually think about updating the advancedsquadleader.com site (noble concept for a business, I know  ) or choose a more reliable forum.

I agree about the ASLML. It is hit or miss all the time now. Normally you get no messages for about 24 hours then you get about 50 at a time. They come out of order and the list eats a lot of them as well. I think this forum will work better in the long run, especially if they do not improve the ASLML.

Any reason why this forum can't be the "official" place for Perry Sez? For the time being, it probably just won't be feasible with a relatively low membership level. If it catches on, though, it would work much better than ASLML.

I have tried to post to the ASLML 4 or 5 times this week and it never made it. I think this forum is the future and ASLML is dying.

Probably because the "official" spot for Perry Sez posts is where ever Perry sez it is (crappy pun intended).

I don't think anybody should dictate to Perry where his official rulings should be posted.

However, like I said before, if he starts posting here on a semi regular basis, I'll definitely give him his own forum.
