Hi
In the Pegasus Bridge Night scenarios , instead of E1.21, a german unit gains Freedom of Movement "only if attacked by other than a Sniper dr or if it has both seen a KEU and an enemy unit moves/advances/routs within three hexes of it.
In the above bold font, does it matter what order this happens in? And do the two parts of the bold font have to be during the same turn?
That is, does the German need to maintain records of
a) German units that have seen a KEU but not yet had an enemy unit move/rout/sdvance within 3 hexes of it and
b) German units that have had an enemy unit move/rout/advance within 3 herxes of it but have not yet seen a KEU
For the above two groups, once the other condition is meet it then has FOM, even if it occurs in a different phase or even a diferent turn?
EX: A concealed British unit advances to 3 hex range from a German unit. At this point the German has not seen a KEU and so does not have FOM. In the next player turn the German sees a KEU (due to a starshell being placed or effective fire). German now has Freedom of Movement?
Cheers
