OtO CG Questions

Hiya,

This is a repeat of a question from the 'old' list :wink: ...

Under what circumstances is air support retained from one CG date to
the next? The rules don't seem to specifically address planes, but they
do state that any equipment which has not been recalled is retained.

If so, then what next? Are they kept on map, ready for use in turn one?
Or are they brought on again with a dr, like reinforcements?

Check out the errata and clarifications on www.heatofbattle.com this issue is addressed. Basically if they are used for any attack they are lost. If you have more than one RG of aircraft only 6 planes may be on board for each side at any one time.

Imagine 12 planes fighting it out. It is a sight!

yeah, i think it was my tear stained PT report telling of being hammered by a cab rank of 12 Il-2's that caused the numbers of available planes to be dropped.
