Hi,

What is, in your opinion, the optimal size of a command for 1 player for PBEM? I could have asked which echelon level is your favorite, but since a single "counter" can be anything between a fire team and a company, that wouldn't answer really the question.

I personally tend to forget about units once a certain number is reached.

Ah! Didn't see this thread before.

I didn't use the option to hide all units without orders before: I just realized that its there. I'll have to see whether this will help me manage more units.

I don't mind micromanaging 1 echelon below the top echelon, so depend on how fine-grained are the basic units. I'm most happy between from a Co to a Bn, which is in the low end in term of number of units I guess.

In PBM you can just about manage anything.

In netgames and especially CPXes I find more than 2 coys is too much in 1 minute automated turns. For Arty to be effective not more than 12-15 batterys (if you dont have to run a uspply train) and 10-12 if you have to run a supply train.

the poll I would not know to answer as I have no idea how many units one can run in PBM
