Cellar Fighting in Omaha '23 (September 2-4)

Greetings Fellow ASLers!

The 2nd annual Cellar Fighting in Omaha will be held September 2-3 (Sat-Sun) and open wargaming on Sept 4 (Mon) from 10:00 AM to 8 PM. There will be a $10 entry fee payable upon 1st entry at the door on September 2nd or 3rd to cover the tournament costs.

RSVP by August 25th
if you are planning to attend (otherwise I’ll assume you are not coming). Remember, don’t wait to the last minute for there is a 16-player limit, so the first 16 players that RSVP will be the ones allowed in. Likewise, if you responded that you are coming, you don’t need to respond again to the subsequent tournament correspondence unless your availability or circumstances change. Emergencies occur or you change your mind, PLEASE let me know ASAP so that your change in situation doesn’t block others out.

Tournament Location:

7211 N. 76th Street

Omaha, NE 68122

The Tournament Rules & Scenario List shall be sent to players who replied that they are attending around the weekend of August 19-20.

If you are in town on Friday, Sept 1st, you can drop by between 6:30-8:30 PM to drop off your ASL stuff, check out the playing area, and/or just shoot the breeze on my back patio (weather permitting).

On Saturday (Sept 3rd), doors will be open at 8:30 AM so you can unload if you haven’t on Friday night. Please be ready to play by 10:00 AM.

Though my address is 7211 N. 76th Street- my house is on the corner of 76th Street & Ernst Street. I would recommend parking on Ernst (fewer neighbor driveways) than 76th (also 76th does have slightly more traffic). You can park in my driveway, too! (It’s OK to block our garage.)

If you have any questions, you can contact me as listed below.
