LOS Bypass CAFP .... all and above

My ASL mate and me we have a sudden doubt. The american AFV is in motion in hex G3. To escape those bad Germans he would bypass the wood in G4. The question is: where we should trace the LOS? To the entry focal point (picture 1) or the CAFP (picture 2)? Thanks

D2.32 the CAFP "is the point in the hex where all fire to and from the vehicle is traced". That would be the later case, GG4-FF3-FF4, if I understand your diagram.

Infantry bypass lets you trace LOS to either of the two vertices, or the hex center dot, but VBM says all LOS is to the CAFP.
