Hi Folks!

I bought the eASLRB and use my iPad with the preinstalled Books-App.

Well - the search engine is not that good, as I expected. If you follow a link, you can't go back to where you clicked that.
I'd like to have an Index on the side for fast navigation.

Does anybody got a recommendation for a suitable PDF reader?

Searching with PDF expert is decent (have not experienced delays searching eASLRB).

This is not a search function problem. It is about having a "previous" or "next" button available.
See in your preferences if you could add it to your toolbar (for an example, Adobe Acrobat doesn't display it by default, but you can add it to the toolbar).

Thanks for your input!

Of course - the searchengine does not have anything todo with the forth- and backbuttons.
Using the „books“-searchengine I feel, that he finds everything - but the most related link I’m looking for is mostly at the bottom. With that app, a manual search by hand in the print out is much faster…

But I’ll take a look on that Acrobat Version for iPad OS.

PDF Expert offers just an editor with 14-day trial. I think reading PDF should be possible in 2023 without paying for any fancy cloud services I don’t need!

“Documents” works well and has a next/back buttons. I use that sometimes for PDFs on my iPad.

Here is a snapshot. I circled red at top-right where the search bar is. The bottom-right in red is where the forward/back arrows are. The green circle is a great scroll button to go through the entire document.

It's an iPad app called "Documents". It's not just a PDF reader app. You can store all sorts of "documents" (ha!) online, on your iPad, access other servers, etc. It opens most file formats, etc. Here is a pict of the icon if you go to the App Store.
