How long back can you go with PoA2?

Seventhies, sixties or fifthies?

Btw, how long into the future? What kind of "future" equipment can you find?

It could handle seventies and eighties Cold War stuff well enough. I think virtually everything in the database is still in use, although not necessarily by the country of origin.

The only "future" stuff I saw in a quick browse through the database was the Comanche, but there might be more there.

The database is really between 1950's-2010... but there is talk about creating a WW2 series. Right now the focus is on getting what we got as players in order first. Any unit could theoretically be created.

Are there some cold war scenarios included?

No specific cold war scenarios although the equip for 80's sov-style equip is all there for your pleasure in creating on the spot scenarios or if you are up to it making a new map and recreating any cold war era possibility.

Stay tuned over the coming months as people really start exploring what the new map symbol set can do and how maps can get created with new OOB's being submitted to HPS, there is a lot to happen yet and that's actually a good thing since we the players get to have a great deal of say in how this sim takes shape.
