My HIP ATG is in a good ambush hex and a cornerstone of my defence. I do not want to reveal it if I don't have to. I want to shoot APCR, but the TH is to high and the ATG has none, so no shot.
Is it possible to keep it HIP until after the TH DR to see if it shot or not?
Or do you have to put it on board before you shoot in order to have the possibility to shoot at all? If no APCR, then can you keep it HIP (baring Malfunction, but regardless if it changed CA or not, because it didn't if there was no shot)? I do not think it loses concealment in either case(?)

Since the rules say "no shot" happened, I believe it keeps HIP.

OTOH, you're going to fire again with AP, aren't you?

Yepp, got an answer from Klas Malmström too directing me to A12.34.
I have ASLRBv1 here at work and v2 at home. Seems a clarification was added in v2. Thanks!
