Anyone play the GMT game Panzer? It's a game based on the old game Yaquinto games Panzer and Armor. I played those games a couple times in college and thought it was a lot of die rolling, and was way too focused on the tanks (a lot like I felt about PanzerBlitz) so much so that infantry was practically useless. But, it's been a long time. One of the things I don't like about ASL is how impotent large caliber HE is against infantry units in hardened positions. The ISU-152 being the clearest case--you are more likely to have your ISU recalled due to low ammo than affect a unit in a pillbox from 100 yards away. It's not quite that bad against infantry in a stone building, but it's close. Does Panzer have a better balance between infantry and armor?
