As I just put together the VASL version of GD1 from the first Grossdeutschland Pack, I noticed a possible error that might be of interest to some:
SSR 6 gives the Germans Elite status as per C8.2. What this does is it increases all Depletion Numbers for special ammunition. However, the only applicable gun is a Pak 35/36, which only has HEAT and APDS ammunition, of which neither are available in 1940. What I guess happened is that the availability of German HEAT (which starts in May 1942, see C8.3) which isn't printed on the counter was overlooked. So should we scratch SSR6? That might upset the scenario balance, but the only alternative would be giving the germans the Stielgranate '41 in '40, so that might upset a whole bunch of grognards. Rocks and a hard place, eh?
(For a longer discussion on the HEAT availability woes, see here: http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/index.php?threads/apcr-availability-table.128672/)
