I will check my counter mix when I get home, but I sure don't recall one.
As for the French bashing, I will unfortunately go OT for a second.
I highly recommend everyone from the US go to Normandy and spend some time there. I will gladly trade the majority of Americans for the very pleasant, educated, and long memories and appreciation I saw from the people of that region. When I was there (in '98) I saw many young boys from 8-12 years old asking for autographs from US vets there for the Ste. Mere Eglise parachute drop on June 6th. I don't believe you would find a single boy from the US looking for a similar artifact. I also recall a discussion with a French woman who stated very proudly - "we remember what America did for us, we teach our children, we will never forget". I still get misty eyed thinking of the truely real and open respect these people have for our veterans, and anyone American - I was repeatedly humbled by it.
Perhaps things have changed in the political realm, but I will never lose respect for the people in that region of France and look forward to my next chance to go back. Paris.... that's a different story, a different place, although basically no different than the attitude you will get in any of our major cities.
And as for politics - this just isn't the forum, I'm here to have fun playing and talking ASL.
Sorry for the OT posting....
