It's up, lets see if the problem is fixed, I tried opening my opponents PBEM file & got the "The different CMAK version" error msg. Perhaps because the file was a v1.02 file. We'll see if the parent PBEM file works for BigMik1 tonight. Sigh.:(

A slight problem

Full Monty and I seem to be having a problem with getting the 1.03 Patch to work and I suspect it is at my end.

What specific file should the patch be DL to or should I just click on the install button and let it do its own thing? I can't remember what I did for all the other patches to CM BO/BB/AK.

Thanks for the assist.

click the install button and make sure the path is correct to the game. That is how the last patches worked.

Ahhh, yes, but which file (is there a path?), if it matters at all, in the game should it be downloaded to?

Pardon these silly questions but I am very much the "point and click" end user.

What I mean by path is where did you install it. The default is something like C:/Program Files/Battle Front/ Combat Mission Afrika Korps. It should have asked you this question when you installed the game. Usually updates know where the original program is. However if you are like me and changed the path...mine is D:/Program Files/CMAK then you will want to be sure that it is correct. Sometimes updates know and some times they don't.

I am sure if you hit install it will be pretty self explanatory from there.

For anyone who doesn't read the 'read me' file, if you own the CDV version remember that you can't do it as NORAD described it. Read the installation guide that comes with the patch and follow the instructions, it's quite simple.

And before anyone asks, yes, it did catch me out

I'm wondering whether to bother upgrading my copy of CMAK or not. Does anyone know or can provide me a link to look at as to what the upgrade improves in the game so I can decide if it's worth the download or not?
