My 7th title with John Tiller and this one completes the War of the Sixth Coalition Trilogy of games.

Included are the battles of Lutzen, Bautzen and several other of the minor battles of the Spring Campaign of 1813.

There is a stand alone Spring campaign and a linking Spring-Fall campaign in the game. Also a Solo Spring campaign too.

The Russo-Swedish War of 1808-09 is covered in Company Level (Rich White's favorite level).

Ships were added to the game engine. See the promo page for more info!

Happy New Years guys - this is my gift to the Napoleonic Wargaming community. The trilogy is done - I have one more title to do for this era and then I move on to something new. What will it be? We shall see ...

In December and January of 1813 Napoleon's La Grande Armée limped back into Germany and Poland from the debacle that was the 1812 Russian campaign. Leaving Eugene to hold off the Allied onslaught, the Emperor returned to France to work his magic and out of the recruits of France a new army was formed.
Meanwhile, Eugene had fallen back in the face of the larger Allied host. The Prussians walked a diplomatic tight rope for the first months of the year but by March were in open revolt. The Prussian generals formed new forces in East Prussia and Silesia and other parts of the realm. Along with the standing army they were ready to stand with their Russian allies. England helped the Allies with cash and clothing and munitions. The Sixth Coalition was formed to liberate Germany and take the war to France. In the battles to come both sides would be sorely tested to hold their armies together.
Campaign Bautzen allows the players to refight the battles of Lützen and the massive battle of Bautzen, which was the largest land battle fought in Europe up to this time, and many other actions of the Spring Campaign of 1813. Will the Allies pull off a victory against Napoleon or will they succumb to his mastery on the battlefield?

As a bonus included in this title are the battles of the Russo-Swedish War of 1808-09. Refight the actions in Finland and Sweden which pitted the Russians against their old foes the Swedes. Engage the Swedes in their homeland in the last actions of the war. It's all there for you to enjoy!

Campaign Bautzen can be purchased at the JTS Store: http://john-tiller-software.myshopify.com/products/campaign-bautzen

A customer noted that there were no company level scenarios for the 1813 portion of this game. Actually they just missed being added to the game.

I plan on adding them to a future update - sorry about that!

I was excited to see that Russo-Swedish war battles was included in this title but very dissapointed when I saw that these battles are only head to head, no solo-versions at all.
This is a no-buy for me.

Where do you see that its HtH only for the RSW battles?

At JT's website i see these snippets of info:

"Battles of the Russo Swedish War (see RSW-Solo.pdf for Solo Versions of the Scenarios)"

and

"Note on RSW scenarios - each scenario has a dual play format (HTH or Solitaire). The Scenario
Description will tell the player which side they should play if they choose to play the scenario
solitaire. This cuts down on the number of scenario files in the main folder. See the file "RSWSolo.
PDF" for the victory levels for each scenario. They differ from the victory point levels
found in the scenario which are meant for the Head to Head format."

I think I was to quick here just reading the scenario list where all RSW scenarios are named as HTH scenarios. Still can not find the mentioned RSW-Solo.pdf.
I have changed my verdict from a no-buy to a certain-buy.

Hmm, I will check my install and see if perhaps it was missed. I know I sent it to John for inclusion in the release.

I just checked with John Tiller - the file IS in the main game folder. Just look closer. If for some reason you do not have the file please email Rich Hamilton at the JTS Support email and he will email it to you.

Yes, I found it, thank you, but first after purchase and download.
Only non-RSW solo scenario list available at Tiller web site.
The RSW-solo scenario list in game folder does not show all RSW scenarios, some are missing, so for these the preferrable solo side, Sweden or Russia, is open for guesing.

Yes, some of the RSW scenarios do NOT have scripts. But it is a miniscule amount compared to my older titles. I do my very best to add in AI scripts as much as possible.
