Sorry for the delay! Ernie, Chuck, I have sent you the data.
(Somehow, I have un-watched this thread and didn't get notifications.)
What is the completion date of round 2? Need to know so we can pick an appropriate scenario...

Tom Repetti and Larry Rohlfing squared off in Jungle Rats AP206. Some initial confusion about the British entry area (errata was not errata but a mistaken errata, the card is correct) and the Japanese reinforcements (the river is out of play and the IJA can enter on the entire eastern edge including where there is water that doesn't exist).

Tom had the Brits and I had the IJA. The dice bot hated Tom and the fall back defense worked. The Brits inflicted casualties in turn 2 but the IJA are trading blood for buildings. The Brits tossed in the towel after rolling three 9's on a MC/1MC for the FT HS in the top of 3.

I can't blame bad luck here - I'm rusty and it showed. More importantly, Larry's fallback defense forced the Brits to keep attacking a forward wall, and I just couldn't inflict enough casualties to counter my own. The IJA reinforcements were going to tip the balance of power in his favor, and that's not a prescription for success.

So ultimately I don't know what the Brits are supposed to do here against that kind of defense. I read AARs where they just trashed the at-start Japanese and I suspect those Japanese were in stand-and-die mode.

All credit to Larry for coming up with a solid plan and executing it well. There were a few opportunities for the IJA to break off a squad here and there to execute local PITA counterattack, but he stayed the course and it eventually added up to Game Over before IJA turn 3.

That Dang Larry :)

Hi ! I couldn't get access to the VASLeague web site. My opponent (Neal Ekengren) has conceded due to time constraints... We were playing AP3 (A Breezeless Day). I was the German attacker. Please update our play on the site to reflect this.
Thanks, Ernie Cameron
