Jay and I played J157 "Rage Against The Machine" as our 2nd round game.
The dice gave me the defending Germans, and they held on to 2 of the 3 VC objectives, winning the game for me.
The game went up and down; in turn 2 my 75L gun malfed on the first shot - aiming at a stationary ISU 122's rear end

and Jays 9-1 Battle Hardened to a 9-2 on a 2+0 IFt shot - but in the next two turn's my conscripts behaved like supermen, killing 3 russian squads in CC creating two 8-1 leaders and eliminated 1 more for FtR. I had a 467 in a Stone Builing (42D5) who held out until German turn 4, delaying Jays main attack into the 3a village.
The bridge was firmly in Jays hands in turn 5, and I held the Crossroads - so the endgame evolved around the Headquater Building; 3a M8. Jay threw everything against my defenders, overrunning, freezing, placing DC's and Bounding Fired his remaining tanks.... but an 8-1 Leader on First Level remained untouched, and we stopped the game before resolving the CC's at each Ground Level locations.
A fun and exciting game, with a well played attack by Jay - ASL when it is best
