Jim she said for $20 extra I'd never forget it. She was right!!
SL cost me $10. That and the extra $20 were among the best investments I ever made. Taking Actiondebbie to Disneyland on our first date is definitely the best.

Don't get the wrong idea about Disneyland. I was a poor sailor and it was a relatively cheap date. We lived in Long Beach and Disneyland was in Anaheim. Not a very long drive by LA standards.

Indeed, it does cost... Let's say 3 copies of BRT in shrink, and Abtf unpunched, will make up for 56 years of abandonment!

1976 was a while back. It actually was affordable then. Not sure how many Mars Bars equivalents but cheap enough that we went three times.

Pierce was my very first VASL opponent! Unfortunately, I had to leave the world of ASL behind due to several health and family issues. I'll keep you in my prayers, good sir. Hope we can play some ASL in the future when we're both at 100%.

This is not the update I would like to be giving.
Pierce's treatment initially worked and he was on the road to recovery but the cancer came back.
Stage IV. Appears there is not much that can be done but they are going to reassess early next
week. He is now in Florida at a hospice near his brother.

Very sad news, Pierce was one of my first VASL opponents in both PBeM and Live VASL games back in the late 90s
