Next question for the Armory Mapboard/Mapsheet file.
Is the J282 map, a standard mapsheet or a cardstock map?

and while they're at it, they should consider allowing Paypal. (rant over)

I whole heartedly agree with this comment! <Grin>

Imagine how I, ordering from Switzerland, have $30 shipping costs through FedEx.
But I won't.

Vic,

Having good friends to interact with is the best.

Thanks for everything you have done to make Dispatches such a wonderful part of the ASL hobby. I have enjoyed every issue since the beginning and plan to continue as long as possible. :)

All the best!
Thanks Bill, coming from you it means a lot. I did get Journal 17 yesterday and it is worth every penny, a fine addition to Twilight of the Reich and especially proud of Tom and Ted's work, it is because of ASL vets like these that Dispatches has been a worth while ASL newsletter for over a quarter of a century. Great work on the journal my friend, me and Steve Johns will plot out which scenario to play first when I see him this Friday. Let the dice roll once again! 🎲 🎲

Awesome material and great deal - I bought it and saved $12 on the Journal. Thanks, MMP.
.....
Is Journal 17 already out of the pre-order discounted price? On the website on Thursday, today is Monday....

It was announced on WNDY, here post #119, and on CSW.
The sale price would only last through WBC.

Week 47 WNDY Update:

Welcome back Curt, after his week 'Vacation' 😝 at WBC, most of the episode was discussing the ASL Tournament format and how much it was enjoyed by the participants. (Congratulations J.R.!),

Product updates:
SK 1-4, DaE are due to be shipped today, 8/4, expected in time for ASLOK.
Kharkov in Flames, different production queue: expected for ASLOK.
Prelude to War, Marco Polo Bridge expected to ship by mid-August, possibly in time for ASLOK.
AoO, HiF and ASLRB: In various formatting processes. No timeline given. (? WO)

WO Site Information and Reservation Info will be added to the Website in September.

Jean-Marc Palmier's reformatted map proofs for KGP were shown and are worth look on the Podcast. (IMHO: You won't be disappointed.)
KGP will include KGP I+II, Heroes of Rochelinval, addition KGP scenarios from the Annuals, Journals, etc., plus CGIV 'Prayers in the Dark' from J3.

Just offering a constructive observation on the map's slope depiction. I'd suggest making the slope's color a bit darker/bolder so it stands out better. The brown is a bit hard to see against the brown and green elevation. My feedback aside, the maps look AWESOME.

Yup, now that you draw my attention to it, I would have to say you are spot on with that. Something that is easier to see. That is under significant magnification and still tough to see.

I say leave the slopes as-is. That way, I have an excuse to ignore them during play :)
