Suggestion for the maps folder

The map list is getting quite long and honestly, I dont know what half of the short forms are lol

How about we have subfolders based on producers. MMP, CH, HoB, BoundingFire....etc.

Just a thought, I know you VASL guys are pretty busy but this would be a good 'housekeeping' idea. Unless its already a feature and I cant figure it out lol

There is no one way to structure that list that will please many people. Someone recently (a couple of years back) reworked the list and added the search box.

I ALWAYS use the search box now. It is the only way I can find anything.

We can change it. That will make it different. Not necessarily better.

It is not on my priority list but maybe somebody else will redo it.

Out of curiosity....just where is this search box?

I see a box to the left of the place I am used to entering a bd identifier. When I type in (as an easily grasped example) "Budapest", it tells me the map is missing?

If this is indeed this "search box" (I suspect it is), just what does one search on? Do I need to know the name of the board? Seems we are back at where we started?

That's it. However, I believe the name of the map is always on the scenario/CG card so its FB1 never Budapest.

That is what I need to know....and it is also the tidbit of information that seems hardest for folks to find.

It's less of a search box and more of a filter. Like when you hit T on the keyboard to jump to the Texas entry in the "what state are you in" dropdown.
Some people had a tough time figuring out how to get to, say, board 50, without downloading several boards along the way (hint: you use the scroll buttons, not the up-down arrows which advance your selection to the previous/next item).
