Thanks. I wasn't sure if the labels would be automatically filtered out. I'll know for next time.
If you hit SHF-F7, it turns off ALL game interface things, not only the ship names but the compass, minimap, messages, and command buttons. Great for screenshots but you can't give any orders with that in effect, due to the buttons being off. So to continue the game, you have to hit SHF-F7 again.

The single plunging hit that doomed Lutzow:

A few screenshots I recently collected.

Brits will be brits: (yes, that's TWO ships blowing up at the same time, and they haven't quite closed the gap where a ship blew up less than a minute earlier)

Someone wanted to see screenshots of a "death ride"?

You'd almost think it was British:

That's gotta hurt:

Yup, I believe it was Malaya that did this. It was the first and I think only hit (although there may have been two shells hitting this same spot simultaneously) on Lutzow in almost 2 hours of long-range fire (on average about 19-20km distance). This one was at about 20.5 or 21km.

I'm keeping very accurate notes for my current campaign, if I later have time I'll do it as an AAR later :)

Lion and her sisters engaging Wiesbaden, which is visible as the puff of smoke in the background.

CL "Wiesbaden" and "Elbing" and some DDs in heavy weather after a mine-laying mission, sweeping the Flanders coast. One French DDs was sunk. CL "Undaunted" escaped.

Turning to bring the guns into action

Black Prince draws the short straw again as the Battlecruisers leading HSF emerge from the Dark:

(The fate of the Black Prince was just the prelude to the destruction of 1st Battleship Squadron. )

First light of the next morning. A cold february day yet the raising sun is brightly shining indicating the perfect day for a walk. The battered ships of HSF are retiring and GF is in pursuit:

A bit later the same day, near Scapa Flow; the 5 light cruisers have a different assignment while HSF draws GF away:

(Funny how everyone creates his own light cruiser squadron. Even if the directors make them such bad shots they are still very useful. :smoke:)

Some great shots. I especially like the first one by Kotori87, with the almost every ship in the battle line being straddled. I also like Zakalwe's light cruisers and Yang's sunrise views.

I like Yang's screens of the HSF in the morning. The color, coal smoke, and sun makes for a very striking image. I also find Kotori's exploding Brits amusing :D

Here is some screenshots I just took from my encounter with a couple of Brit AC's. They were all taken on my new 25" monitor which Jutland looks sweet on.

Those crazy Germans! The HSF cruisers and destoyers chased part of the Harwich Force all the way from Lowestoft to The Nore, and lost a bunch of ships in the process! Check out the fort at the harbour entrance, love the attention to detail in this game.

Guys:

If you could go back to your screen shot posts and edit them to include your ADO file, that would be awesome!

That way everyone could try out your settings!

Some of these shots are truely remarkable.

I have to admit. That's a great screenshot, BC almost finished sinking and the other exploding.

Here are a couple of screen shots from a night sweep I did with Hipper's Scouting Forces into the Channel. Turned the French Dupetit-Thouars into swiss cheese and an exploding destroyer made it look like the sun was rising on the horizon.

The Germans are about to run out of cruisers in my campaign. First, 2CS got into a ferocious night battle near the Terschellingerbank lightship, trapped between the screens of both the HSF and the SF, but managed to shoot its way free. In the process, they destroyed Elbing, Pillau, Rostock, Stettin, Stuttgart, and Frauenlob, plus scads of DDs. ACs rule the night :D.

Then E.41 took a break from laying mines to sink Arcona.

A couple weeks later, Harwich Force met HSF in the dawn's early light off Emden and skirmished with the German screen, managing to get just barely out of range of the BBs by the time the sun was up high enough to see them. While they were at it, 5LCS took out Danzig.

Near noon that day, 1CS encountered II.SG somewhat west of the Horn Reef lightship. This resulted in the destruction of Regensburg, Wiesbaden, Stralsund, and finally Frankfurt. I don't know where the BCs were, but 1CS was quite relieved not to meet them :).

Great screenshots here! :)

Not exactly a screenshot, but I did a quick video and put it on Youtube. Jutland is so beautiful.. when I get time I'll try to spend longer and do a video that really does the game justice.

Or here for the mini version :)

It's uploaded in HD, so if you click the HD link and play it fullscreen, you can see it 'fullsize' as it were.. you may have to pause it first, though, to wait for the data to stream enough in advance.

Oh well, back to my campaign :)
