I've added a replica of the roar balance report (based on archive plays) underneath reports -> balance, on the left hand menu and some statistics charts, too.

Want to see how many games have been logged and when? Are we playing more now than we did 3 years ago? What about the year when the most scenarios were published? Or are games played with vasl more regularly than ftf?

All this and a little bit more on the statistics page (found on the left hand side under reports).

I like statistics.

And I am still missing the old function that the ASL-Scenario Archive used to have:
Before pictures of dice were introduced to VASL, it was possible in the Archive to copy/paste log files for dice roll analysis for various types of rolls.
And the best thing was: the overall number of rolls and the overall average could be cumulatively saved.

This great function had never been there before. Nor has it since, alas.

I remember that I had a cumulative number of just over 10,000 (or was it even 100,000) DRs in that table. And I was rolling below average...

Hi - as you mentioned, the problem was vasl (vassal?) changed the dice thing, so the copy paste didn't pick up the dice rolls. Instead if you paste in a log text these days it looks like this:

  • Other ... Dave Ramsey
  • IFT ... Dave Ramsey
  • TH ... Dave Ramsey Hull
So I can't do anything with this. I'm kind of surprised that they went with this because of accessibility/screen reader reasons. One day if they edit the copy functionality, I'll pop it back on the archive. The code and data should still be there.
