Question on MG availability for Jeeps in KGP

Getting ready to play KGP CG I and had a question on CG8 Optional Vehicular Equipment which states, "All desired optional armament (e.g., AAMG; bow-mounted FT [U.S. Vehicle Note F]) must be rolled for individually (H1.41). Consult the applicable Vehicle Note(s). If so equipped, no additional CPP cost is assessed. For Schürzen see SSR KGP14. For Gyrostabilizers see SSR KGP17."

Specifically, I'm questioning the availability of MGs for the Jeeps in US RGs V8 Jeep Sect and G1 AT Pltn I. US Vehicle Note O applies to Jeeps and gives the Rarity Factor as 1.3 for a 4FP MG and 1.1 for a 2FP MG. Consulting H1.41, it seems you make a DR on the H1.3 Availability Table for each MG, looking to roll a 5 for the 4FP MG and (separately) a 7 for the 2FP MG.

That all sound right? I've never gotten into DYO so I'm unfamiliar with the process there. Thanks.

As I read H1.41, I think you make one DR per vehicle: "Excepting 1.12, one Availability DR must be made for each vehicle for which optional armament is desired; however this one DR determines the availability of all optional armaments listed for that vehicle." The one DR determines the rarest RF available for the vehicle. I think you'd roll for the first jeep, if the DR is 6, it has the 2FP MG. Roll for the second jeep, if the DR is 3, it has the 4FP MG. Roll for the third jeep, if the DR is 8, it has neither optional MG. And so on.
