Well, for one thing Zamoly is not a representation of the battle of Kursk. I think you mean Advancing Fire's Prokhorovka. I have both that and Ponyri and it depends on the size of the scenario you like. AF's scenarios tend to be larger.Which one is a superior experience? More bang for Buck?
You are correct. I cited the wrong productWell, for one thing Zamoly is not a representation of the battle of Kursk. I think you mean Advancing Fire's Prokhorovka. I have both that and Ponyri and it depends on the size of the scenario you like. AF's scenarios tend to be larger.
I have COSThere is always BFP's Crucible of Steel.
I love the Kursk actions - I think they bring out the best of ASL.
I've prepared a very large Kursk-themed project for MMP. There are 6 new East Front themed geoboards (open terrain, straggling village, double-wide hill) several large overlays (ie. grain, woods, open ground, Russian themed building extensions), and 19 tourney-sized scenarios. Currently finishing final playtesting.
The project is intended to provide several new terrain options for designers. It's a series of new boards that have both more open ground, grain, etc., with no Stone buildings (Wood only), but 'strips' of wooden buildings to add to existing terrain to create more Russian-themed villages. The larger overlays can be used with new and existing boards to 'open them up', using large OG and Grain overlays. SSRs also, that give the scenarios a decided East Front vibe.
Yep. COS was the southern Kursk salient. The one I've prepared is for the northern Central Front. This project has Crucible of Steel vibes.
The People's Front of Judea...not the Judean People's Front.Yep. COS was the southern Kursk salient. The one I've prepared is for the northern Central Front.
