I have the very best of Cream CD. After hearing this I think they lied about the title! You can not get better than Jimi and Jack Casady

lol. That is funny. 'Best of's' rarely are. In defense of that particular omission. It is generally acknowledged that the live version of that song (on Live Cream vol 2.) is FAR superior to the studio version. That same album has a live version of Sunshine of your love that completely blows the well known studio recording away.I have the very best of Cream CD. After hearing this I think they lied about the title!
It is also a powerfully emotional song.
Now I see you standing
With brown leaves falling around
And snow in your hair
Now you're smiling out the window
Of that crummy hotel
Over Washington Square
Our breath comes out white clouds
Mingles and hangs in the air
Speaking strictly for me
We both could have died then and there
Nice group+title combination
Portishead is definitely on the fringe of experimental music, but they make it work somehow. Please could you stay awhile to share my grief
For its such a lovely day
To have to always feel this way
And the time that I will suffer less
Is when I never have to wake
Wandering stars, for whom it is reserved
The blackness of darkness forever
Wandering stars, for whom it is reserved
The blackness of darkness forever....
