Hi everyone,

with our new manufacturing situation, we need warehouse space for incoming shipment. Help us make some room for the new stuff!

Starting today, we will be putting almost everything on the site on sale at 25% off our regular prices.

There are a few excluded items, but in general, most of our games will be on sale. The sale will run until 2359 EDT Thursday April 16.

Since sale volumes are expected to be high, please avoid phoning in orders, and order from the website. Our office staff will be very busy during the sale.

I've been looking for board 33 for 6 years. They have never restocked it, so don't hold your breath.

Sorry I cannot help you. I used to have a Beyond Valor box filled with extra boards but I cannot locate it anymore. It may have been recycled as part of the great purging.

Have you updated your Russian and German counters? BV is on sale (not cheap at ~ $110) but the new counters are nice and it has the boards you're looking for.

I have a 5 gallon bag filled with old counters. I don't keep more than one set in my storage. I don't keep HASL counters in my storage. The new counters are so much better than the earlier counters.

It went without comment at the time, but looking back on it, it seems like an odd decision to have released Beyond Valor 1st Edition assuming people would have boards 1 thru 15 from the "Before Times".

I always thought it made sense as ASL was initially marketed at the existing SL-GI crowd so asking them to buy boards they already had was not going to wear well. If you look at the letters page of the General aroud that time there was significant resistnce towards ASL as it was released, and I'm not sure the market was ready for the cost of BV with even more boards

I looked through my standard boards, and ordered 2 replacements for ones that had wear marks. The color rubs off, and is white underneath. BUT, I noticed this was only on the older style, mounted boards.
I know the SK style is newer, but none of them show any wear.
Anybody else see the same thing?
