Sad I cannot be there this year. Slipped on ice on unsalted porch steps in December, resulting in a torn rotator cuff. Have to stay home for 8 weeks of therapy & possibly surgery. It's not good to fall when you are 71. Hope to be back next year.
I am sorry to hear of your injury. I hope you heal quickly and completely. I broke my shoulder blade 8 years ago and needed surgery. The secret is the PT. Do it well and you will get your mobility back. It is a lot of work for a shoulder. Good health to you!

Hi, I look forward to attending. I'm looking for a roommate. Ideally Thursday-Sunday, but friday-sunday works too. DM me here.
Paul
Paul, Steve Tinsley is looking for a roommate. He lost his credentials for GameSquad so he is currently unable to re-establish contact. Maybe you can reach out to him via email: tinsleysteve2@gmail.com

With the inherent randomness of the Blazes, it is a good thing you put this in round five when people know if their game matters towards winning the event. I would never play this in round one if I was trying to win the event.

Yes, the fire is random, especially if there is a change in wind direction. However, this is the most played scenario in ASL (according to ROAR) and therefore a classic. The classic scenarios in each round are not for the most competitive players, they are actually for new players. In the first rounds I try to find classic scenarios that are balanced. In later rounds I try to find scenarios that are fun to play. I try to select scenarios that every grognard should have played at least once. I am surprised how many new players have not played many scenarios from BV. Mostly because older scenarios are long.

Outstanding! Things come 'full circle' with this scenario, so to speak...it was part of the old MM97 scenario pack and debuted at March Madness (in its first incarnation).

I know that this got some good additional playtest with the Deller group, even GorGor added in some advice. It wasn't materially changed much from the MM97 version - mainly the OP tank being better defined, and the Sherman Vs being more uniformly distributed (believe the AAMG was taken off of one). The rest is the same. 🆒

Yes, it was close between this and Beyond the Pakfronts. But this won out. Should be great fun. Usually each round there is a one scenario that gets more playings than the other four. Always interesting to see which scenario it is...
