I’m not usually bothered by overlays, but that is frightening and awful looking.

The VASL versions of these boards will have Scenario Specific Overlays that combine all of the individual overlays into one.
Again, thank you for doing this heavy lifting. I am sure these scenarios will be great to play, and they deserve to be played. But how many ftf-players will really want to spend two hours setting this up on a table? VASL is the way to go on this.

I playtested most of them and now played most of the rest. Excellent scenarios and well worth the prep time. Others who played and playtested them in our club were fine with it

Edit: I miscounted earlier. I actually can see seven (7) overlapping layers of overlays in his original photo. This is just insane. If we were Scouts, this effort would merit an Eagle merit badge. These railyards for me are The Third Rail of ASL overlays. Just don’t touch.
Is this how 3-D boards are introduced into the game? 😁

For those of you following along at home, about 1/3 of the VASL set-up files available on VASL Set-Ups have been uploaded into the Archive.

Question - is there merit in opening a thread asking for users to post their set-up files if they have them, and I will ensure they are properly scrubbed (No VC/SSR), updated and uploaded?

Uhh, raises hand I would LOVE to FTF this.

Some brick work and windows next to cross off the list then onto demolishing and opening the entire gameroom and basement much larger..Then I'll have a gaming table worthy of Mordor where large scenarios and campaigns will be very doable over multi sessions.

Last year I dropped 60K into the upper level of the house. The next 2 year plan is revolved around a dedicated ASL Room for gaming into retirement!

Hey guys - just catching up on all this stuff - thank you for what you've all contributed so far. I'm back from Seville and the UK tourney, but off to Germany to catch the England game on Tuesday, but if there's anything that needs doing, please do drop me a note, either here, privately or via my email.

Cheers!

Though now superfluous with the excellent VASL extension to pull them in, all of the set-up files have been uploaded to their respective scenarios on the Archive.

Any other ideas of things that may be helpful to verify/update for users, I'm all ears.

Dave is kindly looking into a fix for mismatched ROAR data when scenario names are duplicated but the new scenario is not in ROAR. If/once that is complete, I will work on correcting those.
