Neil and I have not played in a year! Life has been hectic for me and he's now a new Grandpa.
Is the new (J261) Beyond the Pakfronts good/balanced/Fun? I probably have the original ASLUG one but I have not looked at the differences.
What about WC4 (With Iron Will) or WC1 (Bloody Burgberg)?

Thoughts/suggestions?

WC4 is great fun. Played it at the WBC last year and it was the highlight of the week.

I'd take the Russians in a heartbeat. We both would. We played ASL to have fun. This was fun. A challenge but fun.
