Well....it could be a lot worse! And at least we have some reliable info.
Pete shelling said there were around 2000 counters in itIt has one large map (probably in two halves) which is about 3ft wide and maybe 5-6ft long. Not sure about countersheets. It has one CG of 6 CG dates and numerous small to medium size scenarios (no monsters). Although the CG is short it is a massive affair with huge combined arms OOB.
There's bound to be a few Brummbar in there.A lot of Tigers and Ferdinands... (No Lions or Bears)
Good lord...... why? I get it if you need supplemental counters for the CGs, and huge scenarios, but 9 counter sheets worth?Pete shelling said there were around 2000 counters in it

......like I need more StuGIII’sThe information I heard at ASLOK was 8 countersheets— which tracks with about 2000 counters— to include a boatload of StuGs…possibly enough for one counter for each one at the battle. Time will tell on all this.
like most of us do ROLLS EYES........like I need more StuGIII’s
I still like the idea of a counterless version….The information I heard at ASLOK was 8 countersheets— which tracks with about 2000 counters— to include a boatload of StuGs…possibly enough for one counter for each one at the battle. Time will tell on all this.
Many of us probably don't need a bunch of more 4-5-8 e..g., but those who only have a copy of Beyond Valor will probably need 26 (or whatever the number is in the mix) more to play the CG....we don't need 2000 more Russian and German counters,
Yeah, my stack on unpunched counter sheets keep growing each year. These Russian and German counters will remain unpunched...
there are counters for the latterIf this were a CG themed crossing the Kertch strait, that boatload might have been a Marinefährprahm.

Some of these were quite viciously armed with AA guns as this Siebel-Fähre:

That is the point. MMP cater for players who don't own all the back products.I think that's the problem with larger HASL products, how much does one require to be pre-owned in order to play it?
when they got to the other side, did they throw their toys out of the prahm?Marinefährprahm
Sounds expensivePete shelling said there were around 2000 counters in it

Nah, those Siebel Fähren with the toys were intended to throw enemy toys out of the air onto the ground.when they got to the other side, did they throw their toys out of the prahm?
The have to plan people will only have the core modules when they buy a HASL. In this case only have BV and maybe TotR. They have to provide all the counters needed for the scenarios. Cannot plan on people having other HASLs or even other nationalities in core modules. The information I heard at ASLOK was 8 countersheets— which tracks with about 2000 counters— to include a boatload of StuGs…possibly enough for one counter for each one at the battle. Time will tell on all this.
