Can anyone shed light on what is 'in' Ponyri? ie. 'x' maps (size), 'y' countersheets, rules and a handy box!?

It has one large map (probably in two halves) which is about 3ft wide and maybe 5-6ft long. Not sure about countersheets. It has one CG of 6 CG dates and numerous small to medium size scenarios (no monsters). Although the CG is short it is a massive affair with huge combined arms OOB.

Total of four mapsheets. Three for the full map HASL and one for scenarios.

Mein Gott!
That's 9-10 Countersheets. BV had 13.
A lot of Tigers and Ferdinands... (No Lions or Bears)

Good lord...... why? I get it if you need supplemental counters for the CGs, and huge scenarios, but 9 counter sheets worth?

SIGH....... Must need BV for the, wait, for what, nothing? :p:D

Its a joke folks, don't go crazy. 🤣

Its a MMP HASL, so of course I will gobble it up, just whine about it 🤪......

The information I heard at ASLOK was 8 countersheets— which tracks with about 2000 counters— to include a boatload of StuGs…possibly enough for one counter for each one at the battle. Time will tell on all this.

like most of us do ROLLS EYES........

Gads I agree with Holst.

This is just bloat.......... again I'll buy it but........ come on, we don't need 2000 more Russian and German counters,

Taking advantage of the ASL whores we all are, capitalism at its best,

SMILE!

To be clear, I will buy all the new Grateful Dead releases even though I already have hundreds of shows, so
i am a hypocrite,

SMILE!

But eventually and that time is coming, I will just stop. I will never ever play all the ASL I have,

These Russian and German counters will remain unpunched, except the shotgun wielding Russians from Siberia and the Germans
from the Bologna unit of course, those the system is lacking for certain and need punched as I am not certain how we have gone without them for the past 30 years.

Sort of like the '73 box set I forgot I bought and just found. Again hypocrite.

Hopefully the counters are better than the Budapest counters which split and then my replacement counters split, so I stop caring,

OK THAT was sarcasm........sort of............

...we don't need 2000 more Russian and German counters,
Many of us probably don't need a bunch of more 4-5-8 e..g., but those who only have a copy of Beyond Valor will probably need 26 (or whatever the number is in the mix) more to play the CG.
Same goes for more rubble, shellholes, etc.

I think that's the problem with larger HASL products, how much does one require to be pre-owned in order to play it?

Yeah, my stack on unpunched counter sheets keep growing each year. :)

when they got to the other side, did they throw their toys out of the prahm?
Nah, those Siebel Fähren with the toys were intended to throw enemy toys out of the air onto the ground.

Besides that, the Marine Fährprähme (that's plural...) were originally designed for the planned Operation Seelöwe - the landing in England.

The have to plan people will only have the core modules when they buy a HASL. In this case only have BV and maybe TotR. They have to provide all the counters needed for the scenarios. Cannot plan on people having other HASLs or even other nationalities in core modules.
