Desperation Morale "World of ASL" Update

So, technically, my 2024 update to the World of ASL section of the www.desperationmorale.com website is now done, one day late, consisting of write-ups of all the ASL products released from the 2nd half of 2021 to late 2024 (the very last 2024 products are not in it). I started in late May 2024, so it basically took me half a year, working on weekends.

It doesn't include Quick 6 VII, Hazmo 5, For a Few Dollars More, or the latest journal. The next update will have those plus the latest FTC and the BFP Finnish product, plus anything that comes out at Winter Offensive. Not sure when it will be. I may just do them gradually without formally announcing an update.

What you can do: 1) let me know if I am missing anything (other than Critical Hit, which I don't do entries for anymore); 2) contribute photos of ASL products (non-blurry, please) [photos are the part of World of ASL updates I hate doing the most]; 3) let me know if there are any errors, significant omissions, etc. Just fyi, I don't include "craft" items in the database, like dice towers, 3-d printing, etc.

New(er) Broken Ground items are the self-stick overlays (2023) and the Red Volga map extensions (2024). You can lift photos from the Store as you feel appropriate.

Hi. Thanks for your post. I'm aware of those products. The overlay thing I would not list, just as I have not listed MMP's overlay bundle. I debated adding the map extension, but they seem basically cosmetic in nature, with no scenarios using them, etc.

Hi Mike,

It seems that the overview for each publisher has disappeared and it now redirects to the their product listing page. The text can still be seen in Google results. Is there any way to bring them back?

The "about the publisher" write-ups are very old write-ups from the original version of the website that got moved over to the new site. At some point I stopped making them, and none of the old ones were ever updated. To read one, you have to go to the World of ASL page, then click on the publisher tab. Pick a publisher and wait for the results. If there is a publisher write-up you will see a link that reads "Read about the Publisher." If there is no write-up for a particular publisher, you won't see anything.
