Could there be a useful app to use during play?

Could there be a useful app to be on eg. a phone that could be custom-set up with useful info, routines and eg. special rules for use with a SSR?
With the electronic rulebook, this app could call the rules and make the screen personalized with useful stuff. Fantasy is the limit. Could be just be the IFT… and some other tables, maybe not the whole tables even to allow place for some other reminders , like the SAN number (which I often forgets).

All should be mostly on one screen, such that the phone, or tablet, if space allow could lie in front of the player and map.

I am not developing apps but when I am playing SASL I use a dice throwing app in front of me that speeds up everything quite alot.

The things that a player want should be within a screen or so, so not just be another rulebook digital unit as we all already has.

When I looked last year none had dice with spots. Also none had the VASL type DRs for stats.

Dice Roller and Roll My Dice on Android have all sorts of dice (including with pips).
The second even allows to draw the sides with images (e.g. I use it for Commands and Colors special dice).

I would like something with the IFT, I dont remember enough of it to not have to look, so a practical app where I fast could indicate FP, by just hitting the correct FP, then throw a dice, then the chosen FP column is appearing right in front of me with large fonts, also including the final DR in a parallel column. For the next DR I just hit the total FP and the correct FP appears again. Arrows to adjust for evt. cowering.

What’s wrong in just looking/using the IFT chart? Too much faffing around using your phone, by the time you’ve pressed a few keys on the phone you could have easily looked at the IFT. Also by continuing to use the IFT chart you start to memorise some of the results.

You could train an AI agent to record your voice on your phone and interpret your voice stating the firepower and modifier, then roll the virtual dice and speak the result out loud for everybody to hear!

And with those new Meta glasses linked to your AI, you could have "Terminator Vision" continuously showing you the odds.

It will be fantastic and wouldn't drive anybody insane.

Nothing, these are excellent, but small aids that can be used easily just in front of me and map are interesting.
I am exploring various solutions small in size

Memorising the most frequent effects of the IFT helps a lot.
I made a more readable one, with coloured lines for 2, 7 and 12 results and stripping the columns from infrequently used data.
