No idea when Ray started his work. I received complete files from Steve for rules and scenarios back in 2020. Worked on tidying up and formating etc, scenarios have been in playtest form since 2023.

Broken Ground Design Thread

I live in Oil country with plenty of retaining walls. Some are high enough to take a keeling position to fire over... therefore just a +1 hindrance will work. p.s. Some of these retaining walls are higher than the two sandbag bunkers we had in Vietnam.

He made quite a few ASL scenario packs, of somewhat questionable quality. Plus, he did a bunch of WWI packs to go with the CH Great War stuff

He did lots of SL and ASL in the On All Fronts fanzine. First one to do Japs in Squad Leader and later published several obscure ASL packs as well. Desperation Morale gives you a rundown on many of them

He died last year Steve. I have his WWI packs and his Arab Israeli packs (incl a very interesting couple of scenarios dealing with the raid on Entebbe). Very interesting.

Those auctions went crazy this week and I missed out on all three as they went for crazy money. Very interesting packs and I’ll be waiting for the next auction and see if my luck changes
