On a hex, Russians have a stack of dummies AND a real unit unconcealed. A German unconcealed unit advance on that hex.

Does the -2 drm for concealed apply to the Russian side for Ambush dr ?

Assuming the Russians ambush the German unit and kill it, do the dummies stay in play or are removed after the attack ? Or even before the attack DR ?

From the ASOP step 8.11B says (in part) eliminate dummies.

Step 8.12B says resolve Ambush.

So the Dummies are eliminated first.

Dummies have to be eliminated before ambush. So no - 2.
