I wish you and Steve well on your development of your Chaco project and I thought you might find this helpful as I'm not sure if either of your belligerents have Assault or Spraying FP (or both).

The primary service rifle was the M1927 7.65 mm Paraguayan Long Rifle, a Mauser design based on the M1909 Argentine Long Rifle and manufactured by the Oviedo arsenal in Spain.[26][27] The M1927 rifle, which tended to overheat in rapid fire, proved highly unpopular with the Paraguayan soldiers.[26][27] Some M1927 rifles experienced catastrophic receiver failures, a fault that was later traced to faulty ammunition.[26][27] After the commencement of hostilities, Paraguay captured sufficient numbers of Bolivian VZ-24 rifles and MP 28 submachine guns (nicknamed piripipi)[28] to equip all of its front-line infantry forces.[26]

I thought it might be worth yours and Steve's consideration in your counter choices or by SSR.

Thank You.
Yes there is a built in mechanism for improving squad capabilities (values) while in a game scenario.
Including SMG usage.
Also the use of captured weapons, guns, and AFV has improvement capabilities.

That sounds very interesting

On a FB post, a commenter asked what was the total length of the maps I'm making together with the RB/RO maps.

Dzerzhinsky 47"
Brick Works 44"
RB 45"
RO 48"
Lazur 43"
Lokomotiv 43" (tentative, still in draft stage)
... and that connects to VotG (haven't measured that)
270 inches or 22.5 feet

You're gonna need a bigger table/room/house!

EDIT: looked up VotG map. If it was printed with 1" hexes it would be 50". That would bring the total to 320" or 26 feet 8 inches.
Thats unfortunate, the long wall in my man cave is only 21' long :( Is your Dzerz map finished and VASLized? Love your Brickworks map btw, I was totally unaware that you lived 2 hrs away lol

Mostly finished. Still have to do shadows and other touch ups. A draft copy is with the guy who's working on a CG.

Interesting, but, unfortunately I only use vasl now for playing solitaire.
I do like the "panic" counters :)
