Due to real life stuff, I was only able to stop in for just a bit on Thursday and Saturday and it looked like everyone was having a great time!

Sorry I missed her. We left early morning to avoid some traffic.Jim, Crystal was with me Saturday and she missed seeing you!
Ken Daughety, I believe...Ken Daughty (sp?) won.
Well deserved for Ray.Sorry for the late update. Returned home intending to knock it out a final update, but ran into a networking issue.
Congratulations to Ken Daughety Bitter Ender XXXV's champion. He narrowly defeated Doug Sheppard in the Chas Argent designed WO33 One-Eyed Jacks.
I would like to thank all of our attendees, 55 in total!
Special thanks to Assistant Tournament Director Anthony Flannagan, Event Specialis Allan Lipka, and Scenario Master Allan Salzman without their invaluable assistance and dedication this event would have been impossible.

Darrell Wright Sportsmanship
This year's Darrell Wright Sportsmanship award went to Ray Woloszyn. He had to depart early, so the award didn't garner the audiance it deserved. Anthony and I agreed early on to place this overdue honor on Ray. Ray was the founding father of tournament ASL in NC when he organized the first Winds of War tournament, The Bitter Ender's direct predecessor, in 1989. Ray has been an ambassador for ASL across the entire globe for over 40-years and is our offical "Chrzestny." Thanks Ray for your vision, leadership and friendship.
Final Note
Bitter Ender XXXVI is already a lock, Four Points by Sheraton, Morrisville, NC, April 21st to the 25th 2027. SEE YOU THERE!
Damn I miss Darrell. It was always such a joy to talk to him at ASLOk. I'm not good at remembering names and faces but I can picture him in a heartbeat with that big, infectious smile.🫠Sorry for the late update. RIP comrade. An award named after you is well deserved.
Steve- Welcome to the Game Squad forum!I want to take a minute to thank Walter and the NCASLPA crew for putting on another first class event. There was a great crowd in attendance. I participated in the BFP Mega-mini on Friday and I would like to thank Chas for putting that event on. I of course missed some messages here and did not have all the counters that were needed, but Chas was able to provide them and it was game on. The scenario was a healthy sized infantry action between the Germans and Dutch, with multiple avenues for the Germans to pursue to achieve victory. During the course of play three smaller battles formed as the Germans pushed ahead in some areas but the Dutch were able to delay the Germans in the center for a bit. A last turn counter attack to retake one of the victory buildings by the Dutch came up a little short. I enjoyed playing this one a lot. I look forward to seeing what other scenarios will come out with this future pack.
