Guy and I finished up the finals game today with the scenario 'Yes, Sir'. We diced for sides and I took the Americans. The game went down to the wire and, as always, it was fun hanging out and gaming with Guy. Bonus: He made some white chili with chicken and fed me lunch.
So, I ended up with a 5-0 record and the 1st place plaque.

My congratulations to you and Guy! It was great having legacy players here in North Carolina from the early days of organized North Carolina ASL, i.e. "Winds of War", [1989-1995] and its follow up, the "Bitter Ender" [1996-2025]. A lot of history and a lot of games over the years. A full AAR will follow next week. Tomorrow is our local Kernersville playtest of the GTS revised The Devil's Cauldron hosted by Dick Whitaker, with Vernon Robinson and Dick Vohlers as advisors (and players). As of now and in the future I am TD emeritus!

The scenario was rated 44/31 German/US so it gave us pause but Chaney didn't have board 15a so we had to pick this one. After looking at the board and OoB's we were perplexed as to the ROAR ratings with the Germans having an edge...we both wanted the US...I won the dr.
