Same, I own the digital rules as well but I prefer the big binder. The ability to download errata pages when required from their site made the difference.

Does that fact that it is in a larger font change the pagination from earlier versions (of 2nd ed.) rules?

It was a bit confusing listening to the MMP podcast. I think they said the Binder rules are fully updated but on the old pagination and this will be the last printing.
In the future they will have a binder format printed with the unified pagination, and when updates happen you will download a replacement binder page. This still seems complex so maybe I misheard.

IIRC, it will based on the pocket/e-version and that already has a different pagination than the old 2nd Edition three-ring binder version.

But I don't see anywhere that this new version will have a larger font than the original version - but it could be something I've missed.

So- I have updated the 2nd binder I bought in 2001 (?) faitfully until now, but now I'd need to buy new binder to be up to date?

Not a big deal as I use the electronic rules and Pocket rulebook, but still a bit sad after I've spent 25 years with that binder.

The original kan be sort of kept up-to-date by applying all Replacement Pages and errata....that's what I do....

I have been sort of trying to do that but haven't kept up with the errata pages (are they available to download direct from MMP?)
I guess I will cough up the cash for the new version (when Second Chance Games have it up for grabs)

My copy of the binder formal rulebook hasn't left its shelf for about ten years, at least.
I have the first printing of the pocket rulebook, but I won't order an updated one.
I am fully satisfied by the eASLRB, which I carry on my smartphone and on three computers.
I easily can read a rules section with that format – and the regular updates prevent my wondering if I forgot to integrate newer pages and errata.

So, in my case, I see no need to order the binder format rules - not speaking of the fact that it will quickly need updates.

I can see your point there and you are correct, I have the electronic rulebook too so, really, have no need of this new physical rulebook. It's just that I have had a hardcopy of the full size rulebook for sooooo long (and have been updating it with replacement pages as they were issued. But NOT downloading any errata)
that I just feel that I would like to have a fully up to date copy of it if at all possible.

Being fair to MMP, the pricetag doesn't seem so bad for what it is (According to their show it is the exact same price that was charged when the rulebook first came out all those years ago??!!)

So I guess I am hoping that Second Chance Games gets it in stock before I run out of money (or spend it on some magic beans or something)

Except for some PDF downloads for the errata from ASL Journal 3, the only Replacement Pages available are those that have come with various products....

that's encouraging, I have all the replacement pages from the various products that MMP have released over the last few years.
(I still WANT to buy the new goodies though, gotta spend that money that I don't have :))
