Saddened to report that long time Cleveland/Cincinnati ASL player and friend, Russ Hall passed away this past week. Russ was a fixture of the early Cleveland ASL crowd. (Fish, Nixon, the Sislers, myself and my brother). He will be missed.
I hate how bad I am with names. I cannot picture Russ, though the name sounds extremely familiar. Sorry for your loss

This is sad news.

He used to be around and active most of the time while I am here and made many thoughtful and instructive contributions.

Ruhe in Frieden, Tom.

My condolences go out to his loved ones, family, and friends.

RIP Tom and condolences to his family. I have never met Tom in person, but we had many a conversation here or I have read many of his posts here on GS. Going to miss him.

Very sad news. I had the opportunity to play Tom a number of times when he and Curtis Brooks would head to the Twin Cities from western Wisconsin for our monthly TCASL meet-up. It was always a great game. One of the nicest, easy-going guys you could meet. Indeed, Tom and Curtis are likely in the thick of a tight scenario and both complaining about their dice and ribbing each other mercilessly. Rest in peace, Tom.

Most every time I played Curtis, he would be chuckling and calling my dice, "Traver die" as they were mostly terrible. 😢 He easily won most every game we played due to the fact that he was a very skilled player

Very sad news indeed. Yes, they were long time playing partners.
Tom was very quick and good to answer rules questions on this forum. He will definitely be missed.
Both had a Leader counter in Mannerheim Cross.

I regret to inform that Scott Brady of Vernon CT passed on 08/11 this year. The old timer New England ASL crowd knew Scott. He was a very nice guy. Spent 25 years as a fire fighter, eventually rising to interim chief. I only learned of his passing due to his son bringing in his dad's ASL and other games estate to the Citadel Game Cellar hobby store where I work part time in retirement. R.I.P. Scott. He was 64.
