Fish's Chute Five dice tower. Made of the highest quality plastic. We put the SMCs of people we knew on the side. He had at least three or four. One met with an unfortunate end due to some jicking , a Fish relief valve lifting and a clenched fist. There was some blood if I remember. LOL how could I forget!!! I really am The Jick.

The Ohio Hard Korps insignia was not to my knowledge meant to represent or glorify the SS. I thought the Hard Korps was rather clever. We did get some strange looks while wearing the Ohio Hard Korps shirts when we stopped at a rest stop on the turnpike. We were on our way to stop the Michigan boys on their March on Ohio and had to be appropriately attired.

Actionburk holding the ASLRB Vol. 2. Story to follow. The heathen horde of felines like to stay on top of the rules.
A while back I was using the nome de plume of Actionburk on the forum. This is from that time.
The young female kitty Tegan had not yet been fixed. We took in another stray, a tiny little gray guy with cross eyes. To cut to the chase he was ready sooner than we anticipated, and Tegan had five kittens. We decided to keep them. Well we only had ten at the time and I couldn't stand the thought of them being abused or mistreated. They were here because of us so we owed them.

At the time I was getting interested in the rules again, due solely to the forum, and had considered buying the ASLRB Vol. 2 so as to be able to add a more up to date opinion to discussions. All I had were two copies of Fish's original rules. Well five kittens put an end to that purchase.

I've always loved a hook to a story and decided to post a thread entitled: Five Reasons I Won't Be Buying ASLRB Vol. 2 Anytime Soon. Sure to raise some interest, right?

When you opened the thread there was a pic of the five kittens sitting on a wicker chair and a statement from me lamenting that we had decided to keep all five and that vet bills were outrageous so the indulgent purchase of rules for a game I don't play anymore was on hold.

A fine comrade, and Grofaz forgive me I can't recall his name, offered to send me his spare copy. The pic is of me and that rulebook. I cherish it as much as I do Fish's because it exemplifies to me the true spirit of the ASL community. Bendizoid's post in another thread of Rex and Mac giving him a ride to the bus terminal in Cleveland when his ride to Oktoberfest suffered a breakdown of his car shows the same spirit. Good stuff.

And to the generous comrade who sent me the rules Thanks again!!!

Fish would have special Oktoberfest shirts made for him and I. This is a pic of the sweatshirt that I sent to that generous gentleman in gratitude for his kindness.
