A Tempting ‘Gish’ Offer

Chronic Logic has some interesting news concerning their “12 pound ball of tar”:

"Our game Gish has become very popular in the indie community, and just recently we released an update for it that has a number of new features. Intellivision Lives!

Virtual Play Games announced today the release of one of the most recognizable classic games in video game history by bringing Intellivision Lives! to the Nintendo DS family of hand-held systems.

Rabbids Go Home On Store Shelves

Today Ubisoft announced the comedy-adventure Rabbids Go Home is available on store shelves for the Wii system from Nintendo and the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi video game system.

Featuring a new wacky storyline, diverse gameplay, and intuitive controls, Rabbids Go Home has the zany Rabbids wreaking havoc on the Humans in pursuit of their quest to make it home...to the moon. The DS and DSi version will feature a different gameplay experience where players will solve a variety of puzzles and brain teasers in an effort to collect as much stuff as they can to build a giant pile all the way to the moon. Rabbids Go Home for the Wii is rated "E10+" and has an MSRP of $49.99. Rabbids Go Home for the DS and DSi is rated "E" and has an MSRP of $29.99.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Patched

Today Ubisoft announced that the console patches for both (X360 & PS3) platforms of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood are now available. These patches will improve the quality of multiplayer connections & matches, and refine the overall balance of multiplayer classes & modes. Specifically for PS3, the patch will significantly reduce checkpoint loading times. The Spy, Gunslinger, Hombre, Veteran and Sniper classes have been balanced to offer the best experiences possible.

The complete class balance patch list for Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood are:

. Spy: damage increased; health increased;

. Gunslinger: recoil reduced; accuracy improved;

. Hombre: recoil and reload time increased; damage at long range significantly reduced;

Abduction! Announced

Fun Infused Games would like to announce the first details of our upcoming game Abduction!. Abduction! is being developed for Xbox Live Indie Games at the price of 80 Microsoft Points and will be released in late 2009 or early 2010.

Abduction! allows gamers to take control of an alien UFO, abduct humans and other animals, and generally cause havoc on Earth for no other reason than because you can. Your UFO features a unique tractor beam technology that allows you to pick up not only Earthlings but also many other objects which you will need to manipulate to complete all the tasks in each of five levels.

The game will feature Story and Score Attack modes and global leader boards so that you can compete for high scores against other Xbox Live users.

Ubisoft Unveils Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery

Today Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed II: Discovery for the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS systems will launch on November 17 for the manufacturer's suggested retail price of $29.99. The game is rated "T for Teen" by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB).

Assassin's Creed II: Discovery takes players through an untold chapter from the Assassin's Creed® II console storyline utilizing the unique strengths of the Nintendo DS platform. In this new adventure, Ezio travels to Spain to rescue fellow assassins being held under the guise of the Inquisition, only to uncover a Templar plot to sail west and discover the New World.

Pearl Harbor Trilogy coming to WiiWare

Legendo Entertainment, an independent publisher of computer and video games head-quartered in Sweden, today announced that Pearl Harbor Trilogy, an episodic air combat action game series, is in development for Wii™. Pearl Harbor Trilogy is a re-interpretation of Legendo’s popular PC title “Attack on Pearl Harbor” – with the first episode, “Red Sun Rising,” planned for a winter 2009 release on WiiWare. The game is being developed by Legendo in cooperation with Arcade Moon, the Wii specialist label of 3D People, an independent game developer located in Slovakia.

Stanislav Petri, Aerial Star Programmer at Arcade Moon had this to offer, “We have tamed the innards of the Wii to make its GPU glow red-hot as we’re shooting for 60 FPS aerial dogfight action using all the tricks in the book.”
