Wittard: Nemesis of Ragnarok Announced

European video game developer Wax Lyrical Games has announced the production of their latest adventure-puzzle game, Wittard: Nemesis of Ragnarok. To mark this announcement, Wax Lyrical Games has launched the official game website. This site features game news, information, screen shots and other media. Wax Lyrical Games was established by freelance developers Alan Thorn and Marlies Maalderink. Wittard: Nemesis of Ragnarok is its first game.

Indie video game developer NinjaBee is proud to announce it has partnered with fellow indie developer Grubby Games to bring the 2008 PAX 10 Award-winning game - The Amazing Brain Train - to
Nintendo WiiWare™, the Wii™ system’s downloadable service, this fall.

“The Amazing Brain Train is a great example of some things that make indie games great – it’s highly creative, visually distinctive, and fundamentally fun to play,” said NinjaBee President and co-founder Steve Taylor.

More than a year of work has been put into fine-tuning The Amazing Brain Train and adapting it for the Wii. The result is a fun, ultra-challenging and addictive brain training game that is unlike any other in the WiiWare library.

Sudoku Ball - Detective puts a new spin on one of America’s favorite puzzle games with a unique and entertaining detective twist. Inspired by murder mystery games and famous English detective stories, Sudoku Ball - Detective puts you in the role of a small town detective on the trail of a murderer. Each puzzle you solve along the way represents a separate stage of the investigation. Search through clues, pick locks, investigate evidence in the lab, and close in on catching your suspect!

Rabbids Go Home Coming to the DS and DSi

Today Ubisoft announced a Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi video game system installment for its upcoming comedy-adventure, Rabbids Go Home. The Nintendo handheld version features the same zany storyline as its Wii counterpart, but will feature a different gameplay experience unique to DS. Players will solve a variety of puzzles and brain teasers in an effort to collect as much stuff as they can to build a giant pile all the way to the moon. The game will also feature an intuitive Level Editor, allowing players to create their own puzzles and share them with other gamers for more Rabbids adventures. Nintendo DSi owners will be able to use the Nintendo DSi Camera to take pictures and customize them with funny Rabbid animations.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

Looking at the back of Puzzle Quest’s box, you might be tempted to dismiss it as yet another Bejeweled clone. It’s true that all of the gameplay revolves around Bejeweled’s tried-and-true formula, but by turning it into a combat game with terrific role-playing trappings, Puzzle Quest is one of the few knock-offs that blows the doors off of its inspiration.
