The Trapped Dead Go Online

Headup Games has announced the launch of the official website to their upcoming game, Trapped Dead – “the first tactical zombie survival game.”

Next to general information on the game, its characters, enemies, storyline, game environment and much more, players will find manifold screenshots, artworks and a community meeting point where they can set up the last communication refuge for the living until the undead arrive. The developers will also show up for answering questions to the players and future contests will be taking place on the site.

Trapped Dead is a tactical real time strategy game where players control their characters in a 3rd person isometric view through a mature Zombie survival scenario inspired by the successful Horror movies of the early 80s.

The story takes place in the early 80s in a small town named Hedge Hill, near Kansas City, Missouri. The sowing of a new genetically modified type of corn caused the existence of a new virus which mutated through the food chain. A dog bite caused a local outbreak of the virus which rapidly infected the inhabitants of this idyllic provincial town. Mike and Gerald, two college boys, are thrown into the middle of a terrifying horror scenario. Having pulled over to a gas station near Hedge Hill during what was meant to be an enjoyable road trip, they are unaware that the virus which has already reached the gas station and its staff…

Trapped Dead is scheduled for release for end of Q4 2010.
