Prototype Displaces Sims 3 from the Top Spot

According to Chart-Track, a group that specializes in monitoring the sales of music, videos and software through retail in the UK and Ireland, Activision’s carnage-centric Prototype has displaced EA’s The Sims 3 for the top spot in the best selling games category. Doesn't Surprise Me
This doesn't surprise me. Even though I don't even like third person action games, I find myself having a blast with this wild, blood-spattered game!
I doubt Prototype will lead The Sims 3 in sales for long
That's a great accomplishment, but I doubt Prototype will stay on top of The Sims 3 for long. The Sims series is like a license to print money for EA.

That's true. The Sims has almost infinite replayability while Prototype does not. The game gets threadbare quickly.
