    Paradox Interactive’s upcoming historical strategy title, For the Glory: A Europa Universalis Game, has gone gold and will be released via digital download at all major digital download portals on November 10th.

    Developed by Crystal Empire Games, a team formed within Paradox’s Europa Universalis II fan community, For the Glory is built upon the Europa Engine. The title is a product of the developers’ vision for the ultimate historical strategy game.     Today Ubisoft announced that it will release a Collector's Edition for the upcoming release of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction. This exclusive edition of the game will be bundled with content and items that will not be found anywhere else. The Collector's Edition will be available in stores on February 23, 2010. Developed by Ubisoft Montréal, the game will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PC.

    Quest Online is pleased to announce its upcoming November 11th Open Beta for Alganon, a fantasy-based Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG). This is the final stage of beta testing before Alganon's official launch on December 1st, 2009.

    Players wishing to participate in the Open Beta test will be able to join through numerous affiliate game sites including, but not limited to, IGN via Direct2Drive/FilePlanet, MMORPG.COM, Curse Gaming, as well as the Alganon and MyAlganon websites.

    Alganon's recent beta updates have included many additions and enhancements including:

    • New Quests, Creatures, Weapons, Armor, Mounts, and Pets
    • Enhanced environments and visual effects
    • New Class actions, abilities and studies

    Here’s something that should get a lot of people excited!  Sony and Wizards of the Coast have announced that they will be bringing Magic: The Gathering to the PC and the PS3 in “early 2010”.  According to the official website, Magic: The Gathering - Tactics willl be "an online 3D turn-based strategy game set in the rich Magic: The Gathering Multiverse. Build your spellbook of powerful abilities and see and hear Magic in a whole new way!"  There is also a mention that beta sign-ups will be "coming soon."

    Sony announced today the worldwide release of the God of War III Ultimate Edition available exclusively for the PlayStation3 system.     As development on the upcoming Global Conflict game in the Strategic Command series progresses, new exciting features are being added and refined. Interesting for new and old players alike, below is a list of some of them, complete together with a set of 6 new screenshots.

    -Added an 'S' hotkey to show you the current and expected supply on the map, i.e. if hypothetically venturing forward and into enemy held territory.

    -Added a Partisan hotkey 'P' to show you parts of the map that will potentially have partisan activity

    -Added a right click 'Sleep' option to have units skipped in the 'Next' unit key sequence as well as from flashing on the larger War Maps.

    Today Ubisoft announced the comedy-adventure Rabbids Go Home is available on store shelves for the Wii system from Nintendo and the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi video game system.

    Featuring a new wacky storyline, diverse gameplay, and intuitive controls, Rabbids Go Home has the zany Rabbids wreaking havoc on the Humans in pursuit of their quest to make it home...to the moon. The DS and DSi version will feature a different gameplay experience where players will solve a variety of puzzles and brain teasers in an effort to collect as much stuff as they can to build a giant pile all the way to the moon. Rabbids Go Home for the Wii is rated "E10+" and has an MSRP of $49.99. Rabbids Go Home for the DS and DSi is rated "E" and has an MSRP of $29.99.

    Today Ubisoft announced that the console patches for both (X360 & PS3) platforms of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood are now available. These patches will improve the quality of multiplayer connections & matches, and refine the overall balance of multiplayer classes & modes. Specifically for PS3, the patch will significantly reduce checkpoint loading times. The Spy, Gunslinger, Hombre, Veteran and Sniper classes have been balanced to offer the best experiences possible.

    The complete class balance patch list for Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood are:

    . Spy: damage increased; health increased;

    . Gunslinger: recoil reduced; accuracy improved;
