From the fellas over at Shrapnel Games:

Way back when we Americans used to read about our electronic entertainment in the form of dead trees (apparently this is still popular in Europe) there was a magazine called Computer Gaming World. Later it was renamed Games For Windows and soon thereafter died. We're sure it was a coincidence.

Computer Gaming World had a really great feature called Tom vs. Bruce. It was a lot like Joe Versus The Volcano, only it didn't involve Tom Hanks, or a volcano, and well, it wasn't a movie. Although if it was a movie it would be far more entertaining than the majority of garbage that is excreted from Hollywood these days. Tom vs. Bruce was an after-action review written by two of the most brilliant writers in the industry. Their genius especially shone when reviewing games we publish, like the Dominions series. And yeah, guess they were pretty good with other company's games, too
