Jason Wert and I have gotten a kick out of posting our log-files here. At least some people are looking at them. We just finished Cat's Lair and are ready to move on......

Looking for some PTO action, and since we both now own BRT, we're going to play one from it.

It's going to be either:

BRT1 The Hawk - or
BRT2 China Girl

Help us choose, then we'll post our logs at WHQ for those who like replays....

It did not look like it was much fun for my IJA opponent.

I have not played the other one and have no recommendation.

Well we've been a little late, but here are the logs from our first two go rounds. Warning to the sensitive types, the animal Roy and I can get a little rambunctious (sp?)

Uhhhh.... Yep we got a little language intense here. Of course my Marines are acting like a bunch o' wussies...... so it's justified.

Marine assault engineers, and I got no smoke grenades. Forgot to put 'em on the freakin' boat. Needed a *&*#ing 5 for cripes sake!

Folks

Well here it is the end of the line for the valiant troops of Betio, the Japs are done for.

Would love to hear folks thoughts on the game and our play, I'm too much of a beaten man to take offense, fire away!

My thoughts:

1. Play Jason to move up the ladder.

2. Sides don't matter when playing Jason, your victory is inevitable.

3. Good thing Jason and I are friends.

4. The Hawk is a bit on the boring side. Jason and all our visitors made it worth while. The Japanese are in for a tough time unless they can pop the 10-3 early, otherwise the Marines are just way too much. Came down to me just jumping on the pillboxes and killing Japanese in CC. The 10-3 is just a beast with the Marines.

Thoughts

Well I can't deny Roy's convincing arguments, I've been an easy mark for years 8)

As for the scenario, it was interesting cause it was really my first BRT experience. Definetly makes me want to try the CG, but as scenarios go, kinda blah. Movement options was to try and get into the next line of defense. Best advantage I think was its fairly quick and low density of rules/counters.

Anyways, thanks to the folks that stopped by and made the game a blast. Also, thanks for checking out the game
